Someone from overseas has a sick orange Evo. I wouldn't have the ***** to change the original color, though.

I wouldn't paint my Evo to any other color but I would chrome it out...A good professional factory spec paint job would cost around USD5.00.

I plan to paint mine a different color, sometime down the road. Once the parking lot scrapes, rock chips, etc., get so bad that I can't stand it anymore. I'm going to go with a candy purple, more than likely.

There are alot of other colors I would go with such as the old green like 2000 eclipse or indigo blue pearl like chevy corvette.

My hood is chipped up pretty noticably in only 16k. I'd love to change colors, but its too much drama. I'd probably just get better quality paint in the same color.

Once I get a good excuse to, mine will be a slightly gay shade of seafoam green.

As soon as the paint goes to crap (Which shouldn't be too long, thanks mitsubish, you guys rock.) I want either the Orange metallic that comes on the 350Z's or Sunset Orange Metallic, a 2000ish Chevy color. There is a guy in town with a z-28 that color with black rims and it looks hot

I'd like to see it if you really do it. If I had to paint the car I wanted to paint it the purple that the R33 skyline comes in.

Well Im sure it wont be long until I have to paint mine since it already has rock chips all over the front of the car from highway driving. I would paint mine electron blue.

After reading this thread, I can almost preict it won't be long before EVOs are the next generation's ghetto Honda Accord. All these bright colors and stuff. Yuck..... I just don't go for that kind of stuff.

My paint is fine and I have had my car for over a year. I keep it waxed and washed. "If" I had major paint issues, I would get the car redone in the same color to keep my car mature looking.

But candy purple looks so good, Lightsped! Also, it's not that bright, see:

I've got a bunch of coats of that Meguiar's NXT on my front end at all times, but it's still getting hammered. Maybe it's just the area. There IS a lot of construction going on, almost all the time, so that probably plays a role in deteriorating things.
