would u paint your Evo different color?
I plan to paint mine a different color, sometime down the road. Once the parking lot scrapes, rock chips, etc., get so bad that I can't stand it anymore. I'm going to go with a candy purple, more than likely.

As soon as the paint goes to crap (Which shouldn't be too long, thanks mitsubish, you guys rock.) I want either the Orange metallic that comes on the 350Z's or Sunset Orange Metallic, a 2000ish Chevy color. There is a guy in town with a z-28 that color with black rims and it looks hot

I'd like to see it if you really do it. If I had to paint the car I wanted to paint it the purple that the R33 skyline comes in.
After reading this thread, I can almost preict it won't be long before EVOs are the next generation's ghetto Honda Accord. All these bright colors and stuff. Yuck..... I just don't go for that kind of stuff.
My paint is fine and I have had my car for over a year. I keep it waxed and washed. "If" I had major paint issues, I would get the car redone in the same color to keep my car mature looking.

But candy purple looks so good, Lightsped! Also, it's not that bright, see:

I've got a bunch of coats of that Meguiar's NXT on my front end at all times, but it's still getting hammered. Maybe it's just the area. There IS a lot of construction going on, almost all the time, so that probably plays a role in deteriorating things.
