Why are you in such a hurry to finish the car? Once it's finished, you'll have nothing to look forward to, get bored of the car, and want to sell it.

In good tune, our motors can easily handle 400+whp. Are you at those power levels yet? If not, then you'll be wasting your money building up your motor. Just get your ARP head studs installed, and your motor should be good for a long time.

Couple thousand here, couple thousand there.. dayam, I wish I had that kinda coin to throw around. Shops must love customers like you! With any heavily modded car, you should always leave some money aside in case something breaks. Keep in mind that our cars are Mitsubishis. Good luck with your car man.

Off topic, but do well all run 11.4 afr all day long? I thought that's only when we are on boost or WOT. Some englighten me. Thx

Hey, all those goodies that you listed, why dont you install them yourself? The only thing that's most of us can't do is install camshafts and or any kind of internal work. Just my .02 cents. Those credit cards are going to get ya. heheheh....

AFR's are more critical under load and high boost.. so usually thats peak boost and through upper RPM at WOT.. Regular driving the stock ECU tries to maintain 14.7 to 1.. and when the car isn't under boost, or very light boost and part throttle, the AFR's are generally in the 12-13 range for best fuel economy and to make better power at part throttle light loads..

hey man,good luck with ur goodies just make shure they don't build u a ****ty motor ...like they did to me my car made 433 whp with 21@ on 93 octane tuned by the great mark at TURBOTRIX and 4hour's later the motor blew the #4 bearing and my crank is **** and the rod, the car was at pruven for 2 1/2 month and last me 1 week

Most cars which aren't constantly combatting detonation like ours run in the 13-14 to 1 range. Its astounding how our cars go as rich as 9.0 to 1 at high rpm/load conditions when 8.0 to 1 is the about the richest mixture at which combustion can occur in most motors. Either way good luck getting everything running right, you're dealing with solid professionals but just be careful not to overburden yourself and make modding more like a responsibility then just a fun hobby.

I'd love to gotta see if I can get off (nypd sucks about gettin time off) Icant give and evo a ticket that against my religion but.......... I did pull over a black STI gave him 2 tickets (bad sti bad )
