Just got back from the body shop. $2000!! thank god I have a 0 deductible on comprehensive claims. They are going to replace the front bumper cover, paint it, replace most of the splash shields and the intecooler! i don't know why they have to do all of that, but i wasn't going to argue with them. A new intercooler, which I wanted and I'll have a new front with no bug and stone chips Insurance company's sure do get raped.

 

I made a calculated hole in my airbox and it swooshes, pukes out air sounds, and turbo and the engine gotten mean, Like pissed off.

 

Keep a close eye on your rates.

Don't feel bad for the insurance company as they may stick it to you. My friggin adjuster hasn't looked at my car yet. I want to know how long my evo will be out of commission. Did they give you an estimate on repair completion?

 

Anything involving an insurance company takes forever... And you gotta keep hounding 'em. When i had my wreck that totalled my other car, I had to call the ins. company once a day for almost 2 months just to make sure they were still on it.
