Evo RS in Hot Rod Magazine

The latest issue of Hot Rod magazine has a small article[couple paragraphs] of the RS and they were impressed..."This car makes you feel like Tony Shumacher at the strip and Michael Shumacher through the corners. Unless youre missing a leg, theres no way you cant drive this thing fast"

i think it's an insult, when they say you don't need skills to drive our car. Because you do need some sorta skills.

obviously what they are trying to say is that the car handles so well, even an idiot can drive it fairly well. =) so in turn, it's a lot harder to drove a soapbox on wheels than the very-well handling evo.

It's been noted in many publications and television programs that the Evo is easy to drive very fast, even for a novice driver.

Evo in Hot Rod

Not to long ago they did a comparison test between a SVT Cobra and a WRX STi. Not really to find out which was better, but just to show two different philosophies to going fast. They liked the Sube as well.

Yep bunch of people wrote in and said they should not cover cars like the WRX or the Evo. Does not fit in with the majority of their readers.

No doubt about that....As a Hot Rod magazine reader for 7 years, they will definitly be losing some buyers by putting that into the magazine. I remember they had a small article about the GSX about five or six years ago. The hate mail poured into the magazine company. I just dont get it. I for one appreciate old american muscle cars as well as current american mustangs and vettes and I like them alot while also liking imports. Those american muscle heads just hate the imports, no matter what kind. Sadly, most import "tuners" do make themselves look dumb by just making rice garbage, but obviously there is a certain amount that do produce real cars. It's good to see a magazine like Hot Rod appreciate what the imports can do, even stock.
