I don't hear any noises except like a rubbing sound but it could just be the very sticky tires? do you have a brand new evo? if you do take it to the dealership and let them fix it.. we didn't pay $30,000+ dollars for it to be making noises this earily?

The same exact scenario occurred to me as well. When i made quick fast turns i would hear a "clanging" noise while turning then it would dissappear durring the straights. After some investigating I discovered that the exhaust midpipe (hks) was hitting the driveshaft joint. I noted mild dents on the resonator midpipe, to alleviate the problem i simply loosend all exhaust bolts and retightend them making sure that the midpipe was further away from the driveshaft......and since then haven't heard anymore "clanging"

I'm hearing the same clamping noise too, I just installed a Magnaflow High Flow Cat.

Same scenario when turning right I would hear it, some light throttle then I would hear it too.

I don't know where its coming from, I have to check under the car tommrow when its bright.

I already checked under the car, the higflow cat and cat back isn't touching against the driveshaft.

It sounds like in the engine area, like a loose bolt clanging on a metal piece.

Do you have the same noise?

Please post results, becasue I get this sound sometimes too. Its kinda a "Woooooo" sound. I thought it was an alignment issue on hard rights. Its definitely not my exhaust, as it did it on the stocker.

Maybe it's your downpipe hitting the lowerarm brace? Or you're changing your gear while you're turning.

i get that clunking sound when I change my gears.
