Outragous prices for Evo8 parts.

So when do people think the prices for parts for the Evo will go down? I can already see it happening alittle now, but damn they are still expensive. It just bugs me that the same parts for different cars are so much cheaper than ours. I dont know, maybe I should just get another job

why would you buy a new transfer case rather then just get new guts for it from one of the various vendors who have dealt with them in rally / drag use? get a 4 spider setup, or a spool...

If you could direct me to the sites with these parts I will be greatly appeciative because everyone from roadrace to turbotrix has told me that there are no replacement parts for the evo transfer case. The only way to fix it is to buy the whole thing.

hooptie, actually there is. You can buy the ralliart evo V front LSD for the transfer case and have someone retrofit it for you. I'm having TeamRIP do mine. Call up Adam @ z1, he'll tell you the details.

I'd have to search to find it, but at least one person sent their transfer case to TeamRIP and had them rebuild it.

http://www.teamrip.com/awd.html --yes the website is all DSM stuff. couldn't hurt to email them and find out.

Transfer case part number is MR980934, and costs $1927 from http://www.mitsubishiparts.net/.

You can get a list of EVO part numbers here:
