Any "bigger" small battery kits?

Anyone know of any small batteries (that are larger than the tiny battery kits) ?

I want a battery large enough to have a somewhat decent reserve capacity, but small enough to run a hardpipe for the upper intercooler pipe.

Anyone know of such a battery, and where i could buy one?

Ya know, when I got the Buschur battery kit (I don't know for certain what battery he uses since its not labeled) I was concerned about reserve capacity.. But I found it seems to have more than enough for the average things I've been doing.. Unless you have a few high-draw devices (Amps or somthing). My biggest concern was the capacity to crank over the engine in real cold weather, and it hasn't given me any trouble yet.

I think there's an oddessey battery that has similar dimensions, its a bit larger and heavier and may be what your looking for. I think I also recall coming across something called a Reactor Battery, its a dry-cell type if I recall, they use them to crank small turbine engines. Their close to twice the size of the buschur battery but half the size of the stock one.

My Mini battery from Buschur has given up the ghost after six months of daily driving use (including Jan and Feb in cold weather) and they are sending me a new one out as soon as the next bunch comes in no problems no hesitation! I love a company with great customer service like this. They said mine is only the second one out of all the ones they have sold that has needed a replacement.

I have Buschur mini battery too, mine just went bad, it kept dying. I called Buschur up and Jarrod said he will replace it with the new one. What a great company and fast delivery. I called them on Tuesday and just received the new battery today. Will put it on and return the bad battery for a full refund. Thanks Buschurracing.

The odyssey battery is probably your best bet. It's a lot smaller than the stock one and has more than enough cranking amps to do whatever you'll be using it for. Mine powers the Pioneer head-unit DVD/CD/MP3 player with a flip-up screen, turbo timer, electronic boost controller, 2 Defi gauges, and the JL amp powering 6 JL interior speakers and a 10" JL W6 in the trunk. I've had it for several months now and not once has it had a hard time cranking the engine over or even dimmed my headlights with the sub hits HARD.

Not to be bias or anything, but I believe the GSC battery tray is the best on the market for looks and multi-funtionability. You can still use the stock airbox, or aftermarket intake as well as stock or aftermarket upper intercooler piping (something no other one can do). You've probably seen it, but here's the thread that can answer any other questions you might have.

Don't you think a "great" company would sell a product that doesn't mess up in the first place?

Lol, deleted my post...it wasn't nice. But honestly, the Odyssey battery is probably your best bet.

I like my Nisei. But then again I live in Cali, so it's not like I have to deal with cold winters.
