Question EVO VIII Import from Japan - UK

Hi there

This is my first post. So be Nice.........

I check this forum out all the time hoping to find out some info regarding the official Japanese EVO VIII. Not the US one.
Does anyone have any info on this?
I hear the UK will have three official EVO VIII models ranging in price and power. What will the Japanese models have? Will they break the 300 cap like the Subaru S202 STi??

I want to import one of these babies's to the UK. I know I can save a lot of money doing it myself but I need to find someone\company based in Japan who can purchase one of these on my behalf and get it on the ship to the UK. Anyone know anyone???

Cheers,

Rich

Welcome To the forums.

We are all waiting any official info. As of now only rumors and a few spy shots are availible. no official specs at all.

Here is one of the many places in the UK that will be importing the Evo VIII: http://www.litimports.co.uk/evo8_preview.html

The only other suggestion I have is to pick up any of the UK car magazines and look in the back pages for some grey market importers. Give them a call and ask them what they know.

Cheers.

Thanks for that.. I have all ready spoke to these guys. There prices don't seem to add up. I have worked out that if I can find someone in japan to supply me the car I could save alot more money. Getting a good exchange rate alone can save a bucket load of cash. Just need to find a japanese exporter....

skydiei, check out www.japanvehicles.com
They are based in Japan and their owner/manager Graham speaks English.
They export a lot of cars to various parts of the world, including the UK. They can also do auctions.
