12s out of this setup?
Hey everyone:
I was just wondering if you think its possible to get into the 12s with: MBC, Exhaust and ECU Reflash.
Ok, so i was sitting at work today talking to Chinto from the message forum and im having my brother help install his EBC. Well, i am getting jealous of him now that he's not stock anymore. Here's what i thought would be a nasty setup with just one bolt on.
Gialla hood = 15hp
RC2 Rims saving about 6lbs per rim = 45 hp
Front bumper (from the suggestion of Chinto) = 30 hp
Downgrading the exhasut to a 2.25 = 36hp (much better than any turbo back, if you ask me)
now its a good thing my dad works with computers, cause id have never ever thought of this.
that nets me 126hp out of one bolt on. Amazing
thats roughly 400 hp...which means a mid 12 or better 1/4
i remember yellow fever was telling me to get a boost controller, but f that...i have gotten much more power out of this than any MBC can offer. I love shrimp btw.
I read a post by malibu jack saying to clean all the outsides of all piping to reduce weight and increase tq and hp substantially...ill have to try that.
Btw...you may think this is bs, but coming from a son's father who lets him drive his 85 hp hyndai excel...i think i have a bit more expertise on this.
