The rules for the shootout are very basic:

• Must have an Evo chassis
• Must have a 4G63 engine

Anything else goes This will make things simple for those who wish to compete.

OK, this seems fairly dead. We'll be at the Evolution Owners Club West Coast EVO time attack on Sunday November 28th at the Streets of Willow with our fast cars if anyone want to come and beat on them.

I haven't heard much about this event lately. Is there still a plan to host an all EVO Tuner Time Attack, somewhere in California? We're planning to have the SPARCO EVO there, but we also have other show committments and need to finalize our schedule for the rest of the year. Hope this happens as it would be great to see some of the fastest EVO's in the country all at the same track on the same day.

 

Sorry for the delay guys. I just recently completed a big move and things were/are a little hectic at the time.

This is definitely a go. I've spoken with Aaron Bitterman and we have found a date of December 4-5th at Streets of Willow, which we can use. This should be a good compromise of safety and scheduling for everyone involved. I would have loved to use the November date given by the EOC, but unfortunately, I will be visiting family for Thanksgiving that weekend.

Aaron is working on setting up the online registration. Once this is complete I will email each of the tuners/members that expressed interest as well as update this thread.

The plan for the event is to have the tuner shootout as well as an Evo track day (two days). Pricing should be ~$300 to drive and spectators can attend for free.
