My steering column clicks when I turn the wheel either direction, doesn't matter if I'm moving or stopped. It's kind of like the tunsignal cancellation. I've had it to the dealer twice, the first time they ordered and replaced the clock spring, then they told me I'd have to schedule time to leave the car and they would diagnose the problem. I had them order the multi-switch (has the turn signal/wipers/headlights) the only other thing in the column before I would bring the car in to hopefully save some time and trips across town cause they don't seem to stock anything accept oil filters. Anyway, they called when it came in and I took the car in, they did no diagnosing, they just installed the switch and then called to tell me that it did NOT fix the problem, but I could pick it up.
I'm not sure what to do other than maybe take the covers off of the column and drive it around and see if I can see anything or pin point the noise maker.

 

I know the old mini van I used to drive had that problem and I just sort of ignored it as just something that they put in so you knew how far youwere turnin the wheel, but my evo doesn't do that...

 

You mean they don't all do that? Mine does it too.
