this is just amazing. how can anyone think that a TC will last more than 20 miles without fluid is just shocking to me. you drove a week with no fluid at all and your car was normal even for the first day??? i had a leak in my TC and within 2 hours i was hearing all kinds of funky noises. however, what really kills me is what have become of the internet. 5 years ago, if a thing like this happened you would go bac k to the shop and work it with them. now, the minute somethiing goes wrong, a person go online and bash a shop instead of working with them. why would you want to ruin a shop good name instead of talking to them and solve the issue? i have talked to Mark before and he is one of the nicest guys i have ever met. i am 100% sure that he would have done backflips to solve your issues because thats what a reputable shop does. the internet should be your last resort in a case like this, not your first option.

is your transfer case cracked? do two condoms not break when put over each other? no way your transfer case would last 2500 miles with no oil...look it over before you claim something like this. If its cracked, nothing's perfect...cant really blame TT... unless you can prove it? good luck with your situation.

Ok captain obvious, explain how he put 2500 miles on transfer case with no fluid. If i do something wrong i'll be the first to admit it..

I went back and read the initial post and something really bothers me.

i was at Precision Tuning to find out the problem when they unscrewed the nut for the oil to come out nothing came out .
This may sound absurd, but be sure they undid the drain plug, and not the 'filler' plug. By design, the level of oil should be below the filler plug, and removing this would not drain any oil, as the t-case is really only about 1/2 full with oil.

Good pick up. I saw that as soon as I read it, but since he's obviously dead set on blaming someone I figured the experts at Percision Tune would know this, I mean afer all they do have a GED.....

I highly doubt that. Precision does work mainly on WRxs so its not like turbotrix takes business away from them since precision tunings market is mainly Subaru. i Frequent precision and never ever heard a wise crack or a put down from them in anyway about turbotrix.

all I know that you TC case wont even last 5 miles with out oil. the temp would have been sky rocket. You would have all kinda music down there. I mean no oil common, did you stick your finger in to see if there was any oil at all (on the walls of the TC atleast) ?? I think someone went under your car at night and took your oil .
