I thinkI Got Screwed

Turbotrix installed my t-case cuz the 1st one blew about 3 months ago. i paid around 2000 plus for the t-case and install with the fuilds. now i found out the T-case has no oil in it . i was at Precision Tuning to find out the problem when they unscrewed the nut for the oil to come out nothing came out . Im figureing out how the car ran with no oil for 3 months Now i gotta buy a new T-case cuz the one on the car is about to go my Evo sounds like a plane all you hear is a loud whinning noise.. I dunno if Turbotrix put oil or not on the t-case. I E-mailed TT and they said "We definitely put oil in it. It wouldn't have lasted a week without oil." I brought my car back to them a week after i got the T-case done by them and they said it was my syncos grinding. To look at it now it wasnt.. Im not trying to blow up on them some of the guys are cool there.

If you haven't already, you may want to talk to them again - especially before posting a thread with that title

Why didn't you go back to Turbotrix when you started having problems?

Also, why would you make a post like this when we have all seen that it does not make the tuners MORE sympathetic to your situation, it puts you on their s*** list.

IMO, your course of action should be to have Turbotrix inspect your car and then try to work with them.

We're talking about thousands of dollars here. I think you can make the time to drive your car over there.

there is no way your T-Case would last 3 months without oil in it.

Yea if you have a problem with something that a shop did, you take it back to that shop not another one. Now they can just blame it on the shop you just took it too.

This is the first i heard about it, you probably should of called before saying that i screwed you on the internet. A transfer case with the wrong fluid would last about a week, a transfer case with no fluid would last about 10miles... if that. There is no way possible that no fluid was in your transfer case. We use GL-5 redline fluid. Esp, if you came just for a transfer case, that would not be something that would be overlooked. I find it odd that you took your beef to the internet , and that i screwed you and didnt even know about it..

No one every drives there car .. No one ever beats on there car.. Im on my third transfer case, two from the dealer. I've seen bad seals on new transfer cases from the dealer. Ask EFQ300 , he had his towed back after the dealer installed a new transfer case and it had a bad seal. Im sorry you had a horry story with us, as this is the first i knew about it. All i can tell you is the car wouldnt of made it 10 miles with no fluid, and about a day with the wrong fluid. Did you notice fluid in your driveway, since you hardly ever drive it ..you must of seen some fluid.

I dont know who looked at your car, but i certainly know a transfer case whine as i've heard it for over 9k miles before i bought another one. And if your not trying to start a beef, you wouldnt of posted that i screwed you. Im sure when you find a bad seal, that you wont repost nor apologize. And when you get a diff transfer case and your trans noise is still there , im sure that would be something i did as well.
