Engine dies so easily..why?

I was in a shopping mall carpark the other day and I was standing opposite an Evo 7 that was reversing into a lot. What puzzled me was that that Evo's engine kept DYING and the guy had to restart it over and over again. This happens mostly when the engine is in low-rev. Does tuning the engine wrongly have something to do with this? Or the turbo timer?

Could be the tune, or even a BOV set to vent to atmosphere. BOVs will cause stalling in low speed, low idle situations like that. My evo has never done that and I'm sure more people will say the same thing.

My lightweight flywheel changed the low speed driveablility of my car. It took a while to get used to but it still sometimes catches me off guard.

it could be a twin disk clutch. I stalled out 4 times in a roll, when I drove one that has it. exedy twin clutch.

My car kept dying on me because it idled at 300 - 400 rpm. I raised it since then but that could be the problem.

It is the BOV.... If you disconnect the return line it will cause the car to stall all of the time...
