new, but old news
I just put my deposit down.
# 12 on the list. Had to let somebody know. The sales manager could only give me limited info. I don't even think he knows the whole story. He said 270+ hp and it won't be available until Feb or March.
No choice on colors until they arrive. No options available eigther. Don't shoot the messenger, that's what he told me. Can't hardly wait!

No plans to get rid of the GN. It's a '86. Ya, I went to Wayzata Mits. No other dealer in the metro is taking deposits. This is fine. I never had a better expierience with a car dealership than I had with them. This would be the second car for us from them and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. I actually had the dealer in Bloomington hang up on me when I questioned their service.

I figured it was Wayzata... I am either 8 or 9 on that list... the sales manager told me they might be getting as many as 35 of the 2003 Evos cause they are one of the nations best sellers of Lancers. I really don't want mine till the snow is gone, which is good cause I probably won't see one till April/May anyway.
on a sorta off topic - we should set up a get together with the new Evo owners sometime next summer. maybe invite the WRX owners so they know what they are missing out on.
I just looked at the paperwork I have and the attached business card is for Kristean - or something like that. I think I may have gotten the wrong card as the person I talked to there was a guy... either way, he was pretty cool, and actually admitted he was mostly in the dark - I appreicate the honesty.
