Kyrial, you are correct, but I disagree that Mitsubishi should step in and regulate. Pricing should be what the market will bear.
MSRP is only a suggestion. Dealers and customers will be left to decide what the automobile is actually sold for. It takes two parties to make a sale!

A little personal experience here: Local dealers were marking up the OZ $1000 over sticker and would not budge on the price. I did a quick search on the internet, and called a couple large dealers in Florida, told them what I wanted and what I was willing to spend. One of them was ready to deal, and faxed me the invoice, which was about what I expected to pay for the car. It cost me $500 to ship it from FL to MI, but it was still $2500 less than what the dealers up here wanted.

all u got to do it wait...if u cant then u gotta fork up that much to get it...hehe...its all about supply and demand guys...once they have more of the evo's prices will go down as of right now the demand is high and the supply is low...so jus wait...the longer u wait the cheaper it will get...=)
