Question about installing the Buschur Mass Air Pipe..

Hey, i just got my buschur MAF pipe and i while i was comparing the stock piping to the Buschur to see how it will be installed. I then noticed that theres no place to attach the valve cover breather hose and the vaccum hose on the Buschur pipe. What do you do with them? Thanks in advance.

put a filter on your vavle cover buschur sells them on his site. Or pick one up at your auto parts store. And as far as the vacumm hose just cap it off.

Did you just say cap off the <vaccuum> hose? Do you mean the hose that connects to the boost control solenoid? That could be disasterous... it's not a vaccuum hose...

As for the valve cover vent hose, just buy a filter for it like he said.

The little hose goes to the boost control solenoid, which remains closed unless venting the intake tract (after the turbo) to keep the boost from actuating the wastegate. If you cap this little hose off you'll never go past 10-14 psi.

This point is moot if you've replaced the stock solenoid with an MBC or EBC setup...

enjoy!

Used the search function, found this thread, I have an additional question, however. That "vacuum" line that goes to the boost solenoid should NOT be capped if you do NOT have an MBC or EBC, yes? I have a P2 flash and no other boost control. So I need a filter for that until I get an MBC/EBC if I ever do - CORRECT???

Thanks!
