Where do i go from here?

The edge is horribly uneven and what should i do with it? Do i smoothen the edges?

I tried putting both the clear lense and rear portion of the lights together and noticed the enormous gap in between both of it. Is this normal? Where should i go from here?

What type of glue/silicon/adhesive should i use? Will water be able to make its own way in?

Awaiting your reply. Thanks a mil.

Hope i am not being a pain in the neck but i seriously need your assistance and help here.

i don't do this mod cause its a pita....but i would recommend you to now smooth out both edges (rather than fill the gaps with a crap load of sealant) once you paint the inner workings and smooth down the edges get sealant and a bunch of rubberbands and sealand and band it together then once sealed mask off a 1/4 -1/2 inch around the lense edge and paint it black ....

evodave,

thanks for the advice. If i were to smooth out the edges, would the lights look like its sinking in after i installed it on the car?

I did smooth out the edges befor gluing them back together. You can't tell a bit once the lights are back in. I used black 5200 silicone to seal my set. Once the stuff sets it is as hard at the original seal. Plus with black you cant see it.
