Another radio relocation kit question

Ok, so the craig hardy panel is here, and I'm needing to move my radio down to the little cubby hole under the hvac controls. I know I need the radio relocation kit but even after reading the threads here on it I'm still confused as to which I need. I have an aftermarket kenwood stereo, do I need

part #MZ598263EX which is about 50$ from mitsubishiparts.net and is listed as Install Kit

OR

part #MR626799 which is about 15$ from mitsubishiparts.net and is listed as Panel+instrument

I just need a clear 1st one or 2nd one answer to move my deck down to the lower opening. Thanks guys

The fit on that CF panel is really poor compared to the Craighardy one. Look at the gap at the top!

I think with most if not all aftermarket head units, you can get away with MR626799. It worked for me.

Yep, JTB is right. That carbon fiber panel is going to rattle its way off the dash.

I, however, do like the TT in place of the hazard switch. How did you do that?

JTB calm down - no one said that was my car. The owner of that CF Craig Hardy panel is Craig Hardy himself. Craig Hardy is selling his evo in the privatefor sale section, and this was a picture that he posted of his car. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ht=craig+hardy

Ummm.. Calm down? You must have taken something I said the wrong way.

That is interesting that that is Craig Hardy's car. The top edge is poor compared to my non CF panel I bought from him -- just an observation. I think the TT mount is one of the cleanest I have seen.
