intake intall

intake intall

i just got an intake from buschur it is just the filter. Do i just have to take the airbox out and put the filter on? Has anyone done this before that could help me that would great thankyou. I have a evo 8 RS

You're gonna have to remove the stock airbox from the MAS...have fun and TAKE YOUR TIME.

Not a problem, i just installed one. Pop the plastic clips off the front of it and then pull a couple of bolts, undo the clamp holding the MAF sensor onto the MAF pipe and the whole thing will come off. Then there are 4 bolts holding the MAF sensor onto the intake box, pull those off. Re-mount the MAF sensor onto the BR intake and re-install, just make sure you install the bracket supplied with it to hold it into place. Also to make it a little cleaner looking, remove the unneeded brackets that used to support the intake box and will make it easier to mount the support bracket. Enjoy, you will love the sound coming from your Evo now!! If you need more help just ask, and definitely take your time.

u would have to remove the airbox to install his filter. see his pics on the website. however if you want to retain the airbox look & use that filter, check into HKS Kansai or Apexi's airboxes. they allow for aftermarket filters.
