CF Rear bumper Guard

theres a pic on that site..... click the pic that says Evo 7 tails

BAsicly i purchased one of the CF bumpber guards and i am not totaly sure how to put it on piece came with 3 screws...... i feel kinda dumb. Any help would be great.

if im not mistaken dont you have to screw them into the rear bumper on the underside above the exhuast outlet? if im wrong someone correct me but thats how ive seen the exhuast guards installed on cars.

thats how i was guessing but i dont think the piece will butt up flush with the bumper if i just screw it on there ....... dont mean to sound like im from the hills but should i use some sort of tape......

I did this install a couple of months ago and when you go to screw it into the bumper you will get a little bit of gap between the bumper and the top of the piece. So you can use a thin piece of 3m double sided tape to close that gap. Make sure you hold the cf piece firmly against the bumper when you screw the holes in and if you've done it right the gap should be no more than a 1/16th of an inch.
