*help* Greddy Upper IC pipe

o.k... so i'm pretty pissed at work... i thought working on my car would ease my frustrations... I had a greddy upper intercooler pipe kit in my trunk and thought "hey... i might as well as install this now"

so i commensed taking off the stock upper intercooler pipe... no problem...
i tried to put the upper pipe that connects to the intake plenium... and the sucker won't fit... it's too far up against the battery! i thought the greddy upper intercooler pipe was bent in such a way that the battery wouldn't be a factor in it... am i suppose to take off the battery first? is there a trick or something that i'm missing? help me out guys... i get off in a bout an hour and really wanna slap this sucker on...

thanks

and yes... i'm a parking lot mod junkie... i think the only thing that wasn't installed on my car at a parking lot was the exhaust

I am not sure but I think greddy requires a smaller battery

you do not need to use smaller battery to fit the Greddy upper IC pipe. You simply loosen up the stock battery tie down, then you should be able to fit the Greddy unit.

Any updates on your install ultraflip??
Also Gruppe-S or ultraflip what are you using to plug the extra hole on the Greddy upper intercooler pipe, in the pic it looks like there is an extra small nipple right next to where the BOV hose plugs in?

I went to the hardware store and found a gel cap and a hose clamp that fit right over that extra tube (for anti lag system) that comes out of the upper IC pipe. hope this helps

Thanks for the info, I will be going to Home Depot tomorrow and will attempt to install my greddy upper intercooler pipe.

Although, I wonder if I could just take it to a welder, have them cut the nipple off then weld the hole shut? I wonder?
