Thinking about doing this instead of the slim battery. Heard bad things about slim batteries and this would make it easier for a future stereo system.

I couldnt help but notice there aren't any in-line fuses in this kit? Did you install one? Because I have a kit similar to this but I was told that an in-line fuse (or circuit breaker) is necessary to protect the battery from a fire or short. I'm just curious because I wouldnt want that to happen. It's been sitting in my garage just waiting lol

Has anyone not install the fuse or circuit breaker an d not have any problems?

Ordered the same kit and all went well until I ran into a problem. While taking apart the red connection that go into the terminal I broke that plastic piece that holds the two small nuts and the big nut. I'm going to be using a 180amp circuit breaker by the battery. But do I still need those square fuses next to each smaller cable by the nuts?

I searched summit racing and this is the part number I found: Taylor Cable 48103.

Is this the right one OP?

I am also curious as to the reasons for the final location of the battery.
