Update: Got my replaced autometer control unit. Now the gauge is working beautifully. The unit was replaced under warranty. This thing is VERY accurate. No more stuck needles. Just let the gauge light up before cranking the engine so that the voltage fluctuation does not affect the electronics of the gauge. This boost gauge is very sophisticated and very accurate. I think Autometer has finally produced a worthy competetor for the Defi gauges.

I can not even tell you what reading this post means to me today.. I just had mine installed yesterday and have the same exact problem as you did. I have to call Autometer and get the return info. My dates on my Oil Temp and Oil Pressure are early last year but boost is from this year. Boost reads 2 psi off and the others do not work at all. This has been wired correctly to something that is not affected by the ignition on and off switch.

I will post my results back on this thread too so all the info and results are in one spot. Your post gives me hope that I did not spend all that money on something I will never be happy with.. Thanks

How old is your sensor module? That is where the problem lies. My gauge was fine. They just replaced my Sensor module /w remote.

As all the gauges use the same sensor module, my guess is your sensor module is also dated early last year. Good luck and keep us updated.

They have asked for my sensor module and two of the gauges back. This was my shop talking to them. I am calling them today to talk about the 2psi difference.
They may want all of it back except for what is installed.

I have these guages also and like many had an issue with the freezing on me. Well several months ago autometer had me send them back all the gauges and control unit. A few days later a shipment came with all brand new gauges and control unit in sealed boxes.
However I have found that they are very sensitive to voltage and will still freeze up if the battery is low at crank.

Advice for everyone: DON'T BUY AUTOMETER NEXUS GAUGES!!
I had lots of problem. Then they sent me the replacement. NOw new problems are showing up everyday. I am totally sick and tired of these. Just ordered the Defi BF series gauges and a bunch of other defi products. I also had the RPM activated module from autometer which was faulty. I have vowed never to use autometer products.

I am going to see what the return policy is with the company I purchased from.

I sent back one set and now the new ones are acting up. I want to stick with the size I have so I will probably go with the Defi D gauges.
