Question on Greddy Profec-B Spec II

I got it installed pretty easily and now I'm trying to get it to work correctly. I've played with the gain and start-boost levels. At WOT the Defi boost gauge flies up to my desired boost the pings back and forth 1-2 psi. What do I have to adjust to make it a steady boost? Also, what is a safe boost level to run at with the following performance mods...

SS turbo-coated tubular header
10.5 Hotside
3" turbo-coated o2 housing
3" downpipe
3" high-flow cat
3" cat-back exhaust
GSC 264/264 Cams
Injen intake w/upper i/c piping & MR diverter valve
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Iridium -1 degree spark plugs & Nology Hotwires
TurboTrix ECU flash - TurboTrix custom tune (Mark)
ACT street disk clutch kit

Any comments are welcome, I'm new to the EBC but already like it a whole lot more than the Hallman MBC.

It's all about the set gain. That is what causes your boost to go up and down. My first gain is at 8% and the set gain is at 32 with boost set to 56%. This gives me 21 lbs of boost steady. It all depends on the weather where you live though with this boost controller. My numbers work great on my car, but they might not on yours. I live in vegas and it's 110 degrees outside with no humidity. My set gain may seem low, but it works for my car. Good luck.

Thanks, between you and Mark (TT) I got it adjusted to a steady 20.8psi. That's good for my low boost (normal driving). I think I'll set the high to 23-24psi in case someone wants to screw with me while driving. On race gas I'm thinking 26-27psi.

I do have to admit, adjusting this boost controller is SOOOO much easier than a manual one. No popping the hood, getting out of the car, adjusting, getting back in...just to do it all over again when you find out you need it adjusted a little more. Just hit a couple buttons, turn the knob, try it out...if it's off a little it only takes a couple seconds to adjust the gain percentage, start-boost, boost percentage, high/low boost...I definately recommend this boost controller.
