There is no denying that the stock Evo clutches are weak. Replacing them with an upgraded version that has higher torque holding capacity is usually necessary for modded Evos or those that see track time. The ACT clutch we are installing here fits the bill perfectly for Evos that are making up to 500 FT-LBS of torque and are smooth enough for daily use.

However, you know what, praise the Machine God, in 2023 I saved a pdf copy of the EvoMoto guide. I can share this to EvolutionM, so our Evo owners can still have access to this godsent installation instruction:
My Evo X is getting its OEM clutch replaced (by an Exedy OEM clutch kit). The Evo X's transmission design is so very different from that of the Evo 8 and 9, and the EvoMoto guide here certainly does not apply to Evo X.
