Ok so I never got
Around to posting pics up. Sorry guys, as long as everything is unbolted just yank the hammer nice and hard. Even a freshly replaced hub can be stubborn once it sets in there

I yanked the hammer real nice and real hard and the wheel bearing separated before the inner part of the hub even started to let go of the knuckle. Now I need to spend $200 on a new hub/bearing, and take the entire knuckle out and try to use a hydraulic press to get the rest of the hub out.Originally Posted by Jersey Dino

My advice: Use a slide hammer, but if it seems like you're yanking way harder than is healthy, stop before you make an expensive mistake like I did.

You really need a hub removal attached to a slide hammer and just wail on it. Took a couple of good hits to get it freed up. Good luck

im wondering if i am starting to do damage VS getting the hub off. all the bolts are out and i been beating the hell out of it trying to get it off. the hub is coming out but its not where the back side is bolted to the spline. did i trash the hub? or should i use a bigger hammer. lol
update
i got the hub out. but there is a little wobble in the assembly. ok or replace?

Just replaced my driver front hub today, where it says above a few 'light taps', I had to instead 'beat the living **** out of it' with a hammer and large mason chisel. But I did eventually get it out. The process was much easier than the effort to get the hub free from the knuckle but I do live in the northeast, dd my car year round and have 105k miles
