I just installed a buschur mass air pipe and buschur MBC, and now my car in throwing a check engine light and when I ran it the boost was shooting over 25 psi, and my MBC is turned all the way down. Do you think I have a leak some where. Because it doesn't feel like 25 psi.

 

If your MBC is installed correctly, it's probably reading true. It may not feel like 25 psi because your engine is pulling mad timing to prevent knock. One suggestion is maybe you are turning the MBC the wrong way? I have the Buschur MBC and had to put an arrow on it to remember which way is up. Try to get the boost down into the teens and see where you're at.

 

Which way should the MBC be turned I have cranked all the way down.

 

If the MBC is installed correctly your spring may be too strong. In my DSM tuning days I have had several BC's that required a loop or two cut off to bring the PSI down to a reasonable level.

 

I messed with a bit, My check enige light is now gone. I got it to only spike at 22 which is and improvement over 25-27 psi.
