Braille Lightweight Battery Installation and Review for EVO IX
I have had the Braille battery on my 04 STI for a couple of years (about 4 years) and have had no problems with it. When the battery was new I would not drive it for a week and it would still start. However because I do not drive my car most of the time (weeks at a time or even months) it is plugged to a battery tender.
Now I bought a braille battery for my wifes MPV and it did not last very long. I guess because of the 2 blowers all power it was not up to the task.
I would love to have one of these on my EVO RS as soon as the stock battery dies out. My brother who has an EVO 8 GSR has the Oddysey battery and he has to remove the connection to the battery if he does not use the car for a day or it would not start. I think the aftermarket alarm also has something to do about draining the battery.
