turn it all the way down initially, then increase boost after doing a 4th gear pull, just keep repeating the process until u are dialed in

The best way to get the hoses off the waste gate is to use heat. I used a lighter to warm up the hose and it slipped right off. Dont leave it on too long.

In the original writeup, "turbo outlet duct" is incorrect and misleading, it is the turbo INLET duct aka intake tube from the MAF to the turbo.

So on the boost soleniod in pic3 in the original post..we are putting tubing across those 2 ports connecting them to each other. Then connecting the MBC to the hoses from the wastegate and the nipple? Did i understand that right?

Yes you did.

Some of the posts here make this sound way more complicated thatn it really is.
I did the whole thing in a little over an hour in my gravel/mud driveway in 20 degree weather in the dark taking my time, WITHOUT removing my UICP, and definitely not the fan or anything.

Just remove the airbox and turbo inlet, disconnecting all the hoses. Plug the small hole on the bottom side of the turbo inlet with something like a bolt, screw, or the plug from one of those stupid plastic POS panel fasteners most of us have broken dozens of (what I did, works perfect).

Use a lighter for about 30 secs on the hose ends at the turbine nipple and waste gate nipple and yank them off, "Y"/"tee" fitting/"restrictor pill" and all.

You can either cap off the stock boost control solenoid fittings or just use a hose to route them to each other, doesn't really matter.

Route new hose from turbine nipple to bottom of boost controller. Route new hose from fitting on the side of the boost controller to the wastegate. Don't forget to put the clamps onto the hose before pushing it onto the fittings unless you are using some other kind of clamping thing like a ziptie.

Reassemble turbo inlet, attaching the crankcase vent hose that pisses oil vapor into your turbo inlet, which hopefully you have a catch tank plumbed into. (If not see my catch tank how-to.)

Reattach airbox.

Done!

Thanks hokiruu!
