IX MR Oil Change

OK This might be a silly question but.
As a newbie 06 Evo IX MR owner I would like to do my own oil changes. However, looking for the right way to approach the job will save me dissasembling all the shields.
The question I have is what do I need to remove to get at the filtre and the drain plug. The underside has all the shields in place, and there is nowhere in the workshop manual I have that tells me how to do it or what to remove.
Any help on this would be appreciated.
Thanks
Alain

here's the link on how to do it.

as far as taking off the panelling, it's not THAT difficult. The stuff you need to get to is right under the right hand side of the car, directly under the engine. Remove whatever panel gets you into that area.

edit- I'll be doing my first oil change in the IX tomorrow, if I run into any difficulties, I'll post.
