Adjusting E-brake cable

How do I adjust the E-Brake cable? Currently I have to pull my e-brake really far to set it.

No, don,t use the nut. Adjust the E-brake through the hole in the rear disc! You will find a rubber plug in the disc. Remove the plug and shine a flashlight in the hole while turning the rotor untill you see a star wheel/ looks like gear teeth. Then, stick flathead screwdriver in it and click it untill you feel drag on the disc. Do the adjustment on both sides. Do not adjust to a point where the disc don't spin! Constantly check on the drag. Oh by the way, the E-brake has to be down while performing this adjustment! Good luck!

I don't have a manual to refer to but how and where do I adjust the ebrake cable at the lever. Before I start taking stuff apart it'd be good to know what to take apart first lol.
