safe to launch at 5k?

Is it safe to drop the clutch at the 5k rpm rev limiter? Im new to awd, so please help me get the best start i can. Im driving a stock evo ix, and im waiting for advise before I hurt my car trying to figure it out. Any tips/advise would be extremely helpful. thanks

An AWD launch and DROP the clutch is never to be used in the same sentence. you can "leave" the line at 5K, but once you feel the car start to move, by feathering out the clutch (NOT riding it) then and only then can you stomp on it. you have to have the "drive-train" Loaded first. Not the sudden and immediate load of the drivetrain by dropping the clutch, thats when you start breaking stuff. If you start to feel wheel-hop, you are close to busting your TC, and back off! my pre-starbucks 2c.
