So i am planning on changing out the tranny with T.R.E's tranny and i would like to upgrade the transfercase or replace it. I know that the 03's are open diff so what is my best route to take? Can i use the 05's TC? Or will they not work cause of the acd?

Im not too experienced in this area so lets hear it. Oh, also what goes bad on these TC's?

 

i dont think they will work because of the acd, and 05 models have different cases than the 03 and 04.

 

i got a repair manual cd from a friend off of ebay but it's missing sections.

i too need to figure out how 2 change the T/C as i will add a Quaiffe in mine, a built trans, & an ATS clutch. been looking into the Shep route, but from the quote i got, it will almost be easier to just by a NEW Shep built unit. i will have to c though...
