Question boost leak test

I did do a search and I found what I need for a boost leak test. I just don't know what size for the pvc end caps.

the easiest way that I haev found to boost test is to simply remove ur intake. buy a 2.5" fernco butt cap from lowes or home depot. cap off the turbo. then I remove the hose coming off my MBC that goes into the compressor outlet and blow the compressed air in there. Thats just my way tho. hope it helps.

Also Id like to add even if ur stock I would still boost test ur car. After I installed my ICPs I boost tested and the only leak I found was around my #3 cylinder lower fuel injector insulator. the funny thing is Ive never touched them. i got stock injectors still and have never pulled them. so that showes even if ur not modded boost leaks still happen.

This is the way I do it on my EVO and all my freinds DSMs and my 450WHP TSi. 2.5" for the EVo 4" on my TSi.

Did you have a problem fitting the compresor into the vacum lines?

Just make one per the instructions on VFAQ. Mine only cost a few bucks to make and I used a curved piece of rad hose so it's easier to get the hose on the valve stem.
14b and 16g have the same size intake.
