I am using Redline, and I have no issues. Everything is smooth and clean.

OEM Multigear LSD oil for the transfer case/diff, Amsoil MTF/MTG for the transmission. Diamond ATF SP3 for the part of the rear diff that needs ATF.

Those of you now using Amsoil, what were you using before and what were the differences that you noticed. Why did you switch or was it time to switch. I am also looking into changing my tranny fluid to Amsoil but would like to know more on it.

I noticed no difference switching to Amsoil MTG for the transmission fluid. I didn't have any problems with OEM fluid (just a bit notchy when cold), and it's still a bit notchy when cold with the Amsoil. It supposedly can take more track abuse, so that's why I switched to it, but I never had problems with OEM fluid. I simply went Amsoil because it's cheaper than OEM transmission fluid and supposedly better in intense applications. I would recommend OEM LSD fluid though for the parts that call for LSD fluid.

I went from Mobil 1 to AMSoil with the engine oil... tranny I went right to the AMSoil it is a bit smoother, but I am so easy with the shifter that I didn't notice much of a difference.. it's a bit smoother but I always wait for the rpms to fall to shift and so I only get a grind here and there. The old tranny fluid was still looking pretty good actually so I know the AMSoil will be MUCH better. I also changed the TC fluid, but I haven't noticed anything there yet. I have read a lot of reviews on here and just in general so I don't need to notice anything, I just like to know that I have the best protection possible so that makes me feel good.

By the way... I want to confirm the TC case fluid amount... is is .58 quarts?
