I don't have the special O2 Sensor removal tool. What size wrench could I use to remove it. Also, is the O2 sensor for the turbo outlet housing and cat the same. Thanks guys gals.

^Thanks^. I was talking with my neighbor and he recommended that I heat it up with a torch and spray WD40 on it. With a bit of brute force it came off without stripping or breaking.

Any bolts having to do with the exhaust piping should be taken out with patience and care. It's a bigger headache to get a rounded/broken bolt than waiting to soak it with pb blaster or something.

I just got done installing a high flow cat on my Evo IX and it was a absolutely painful taking off those bolts and the O2 Sensor. Breaker Bar is your only friend. Start off with it and you’ll be fine, I started to round the tips of my bolts and immediately went all out w the breaker bar and it was used to get every bolt out, even the sensor.

Another option is to disconnect the rear 02 sensor.

The sensor is already disconnected according to the ECU but the cord was cut so I just left it in for “looks” / “whenever I sell it” and have a wideband bung for my AEM gauge.
