There is no index.htm however there is an autogenerated page if you go to http://www.jonesland.com/evo/

That does contain the boost gauge installation information.

howdie,

what about having troubles, because of tapping the vacline of the FPR - will not cause faulty readings for ECU / FPR ??

wouldn't it be nicer to tap the brakebooster vacline ??

should also be a nice source for vac/pressure readings, aye ?!

anyone already tried, experiences ??

- i found this, look :

http://www.sytyarchives.com/howto/vi...php&dir=gauges

is it correct, that evo's ECU/FPR readings do NOT suffer from tapping the FPR vacline, unlike the typhoon (maybe the differnce between MAP and MAF) ??

- i mean it's kinda logical for me, that when the FPR sees the vac/boost value after the gauge there'e a little bit of "delay" that can cause knock or worse IMO ...

just my 2cents (had a gmc typhoon before i got an evo )

THX 4 input, pat.

Wil be doing this along with some other projects whenever I get my garage warmed up. Chicago winters. Go home.

Boost gauge install

So that hole in the firewall, how do you reach it in the car? Is it up from under the drivers side pedals, or do you go in behind the radio?

Boost gauge

Nevermind....I just realized that must be some drilled hole in the firewall....darn. Does anyone know of a hole that is already there from manufacturer that a person could run a gauge hose through?
