Im gona hopefully paint the headlights this weekend and i have some questions... I wana paint them as close to real JDM MR ones.. Which part do i paint so the bottom piece is amber? Do i paint the plastic headlight cover or the chrome piece inside.. I want something like this...

 

paint the chrome inside, I have seen a few posts out there how you can do it.

 

but the chrome piece on the housing or the attached chrome piece to the headlight?

most people i know use clear orange paint on the actual lense and leave the chrome piece behind it chrome. the chrome around the lights is a seperate piece than the chrome behind the turn signal.

 

The headlight you posted has an amber sticker on the outside of the lense, BTW...
