how to paint your hood vent
1. Use about 400-600 sand paper. sand the entire thing nicely.
2. clean it off with soap and water.
3. clean it off with wax n grease remover, or window cleaner.
4. If you have any bare metal I was taught to cover it up with primer, but its just a vent...
5. tack it off
6. paint
7. clear
I painted mine silver and it came out okay but i skipped alot of steps, its held up so far in heavy rain and sun. i didnt even clear it. i'd paint it silver instead of leaving it raw.

i've been wating to either paint mine silver or leave it the raw silver color. i have a silver 9
it has been raining nonstop but i'll try to get a picture. I'd paint it silver then clear it. All i did was paint it silver and left it. I found some silver duplicolor import spray paint in my garage and just used it haha.
