Uhmm.. any MR owners installed this.. the switch on the IX is actually far down than the pictured on the instructions provided..?

I had it installed on an VIII MR. It worked...sorta. The fogs turned on and off whenever they wanted at random times.

ok i would MOST DEFINITELLY cut into wires, cause for you to tell people to do it this way makes no sense, why is splicing into wires so bad? it isn't. I've dealt with simular situations alot of times and I would never recomend something so stupid. I don't want electric problems.

My fog light switch is at the bottom in comparison to an 8 as pictured in the provided instructions.. now which one do I tap in to the harness..? Specific color..??

my question is, why couldn't you just tape the power for the relay from another source other than the low beam fuse?
