Dude are you nuts??...Damn bro. Don't cut the springs man. Save some money and get some real suspension parts. Do it right, or don't it at all.

Lowering springs are like $180 or less for the set...... There are some used in the classified section right now I think. The suspension is great but once you hack it...then it will suck.

You must be really cheap. Buy some Cusco, JIC, hell even Tein coilovers and do it right. Do you even change your oil?

Seriously man, you wanna cut your springs you are probably better off trading the Evo for a honda.
The trouble you are going to go through with taking the springs out, hacking them up, putting them back in and sure as nuts having a f***ed up ride, you should just save up a couple hundred $$ and buy some lowering springs.

just lowering a car ruins the ride, so why not chop at the bilstein setup? It's probably better than using the TEIN-S TECH.

are you serious? I'm not trying to be mean but please research and learn a little before considering cutting up your springs. Cutting the springs will ruin the ride and could make the car unsafe. And any spring upgrade will be a lot better than cutting the stockers. Also not all springs will make the car ride worse.
Please, Please Please do not cut the springs just to get the lowered look. That is one of the most ghetto things you can do to your car.
