Spring and shock combos should be properly matched, this includes the stock setup, which is actually pretty good. If your going to change it you should try to do it right and get something that is properly balanced, that way you can improve your ride and handling. Also because the stock setup is pretty good, it will cost you a little something to improve upon it.
The Evo is a great car, please treat it right and get proper upgrades.
