Yeah, the O2 sensor off my stock exhaust was a beotch to get off. It's hard to get a good grip on it.... you can't use a socket, and the damn heat sheild get's in the way. When I did use my man hands to get the thing off, it looked like the threads were almost damaged. And when I installed it to my Ultimate Racing test pipe... it was another beotch of a time.
Just talk dirty to it to get it out. When the time comes to reattach the wires, make sure you utilize some solder and some heat shrink for that gauge of wire. (Make sure you put the heat shrink tubing up the wire before you solder the wire heat shrink tubing doesnt work if you cut it length wise and then try to use your lighter on it) Don't mate the wires up with some cheap *** twist on style end cap. There is just too much water and crap to corrode the wire underneath the car.
Get mean next time. Go work out, sheesh.

I would recommend going to your local autozone because they loan a 02 socket remover. It is basically has a slit in the socket that allows you to put it over the wires. Also I HIGHLY recommend putting anti-seize on the 02 sensor threads so when it comes again to removing the exhaust you won't get this problem
