Its for my EVO. I know it says I drive a MB E430, but thats the family car. I had to get a toy for myself. I'll update that right now.

hey thanks for the pics bhamEVOguy. I was just wondering, what kind of fluid did you use for the transmission and the TC. How much do you need? Do you need some kind of pump to fill it back up?

i used royal purple for the transmission ---- 3 qts. or till it starts to drip out of the fill plug.

and diaqueen lsd for the tcase and rear diff. ---- fill till its full.

and yes u need a pump to fill it back up.

u can get a pump from ur local autostore. get a plastic pump with a tube.

I use Penzoil Synchromesh/GM Syncromesh in my Evo 5 Speed... been happy with it so far.

BUT!!!... since it looks like you have an MR, I would recommend ONLY using the genuine Mitsubish Super Diaqueen in your transmission. Mitsubishi specifies this fluid for the 6 speed MR transmission because of the lower tranny oil capacity and more heat. It's pricey... but it's the right stuff. It can be purchased here...

For the transfer case use ONLY genuine Mitsubish Diaqueen. It will say Mitsubishi Diaqueen LSD Gear Oil on the can.

Also use ONLY the same Diaqueen for the rear differential. It can be purchased here...

... or a number of other places.

Also note, that while the tranny drain/fill plugs are in approximately the same location on the MR transmission, they are torx type plugs and not the ones you see in the pictures of the 5 speed Evo tranny.

Hope that helps.
