Turbo XS RFL Install

I just installed it a week ago. My friend had it on his 3000GT VR4 and he blew his motor so I'll be taking off parts from his. I just wanted to see how it worked, and it works great. Everybody was talking about bogging and idling problems. It only has done it a few times and never died on me. It blows off very quick and enhanced boost between shifts rather than the Stock BOV that was made by Mattel toys! Anyway the RFL faces right out the Hood vent so people can hear you miles away. I can't get enough of it.

The reason you shouldn’t VTA (vent to atmosphere) is because the ECU sends a large fuel surge to the motor in between shifts, reason for flutter in the engine. The air should be re-vented because it is metered by the MAF. You are running real rich in between shifts. I also had this same BOV setup to recirc and found there was boost leaking past the piston because there is not a gasket or grommet to seal the piston inside the housing. Just a heads up.
Hope this was helpfull.
