Has anyone taken out the clock yet???
Has anyone taken out the clock yet???
Hey All,
Installing a Greddy boost gauge this weekend.
I have installed Defi's off the clock in my WRX and they worked great! It had the four wires needed 12v constent, 12 ing on, ground and light. Does the EVO have the Same set up???
How do you remove the clock?? Do you need to take out the whole ducting out??
Any help would be great.
I will post pictures and a full install for everone to see after I'm Done.
Thanks
Eric

For the evo, you would be much better off using a fuse tap to get the ignition 12v signal off the fuse box. And the constant 12v and illumination from the radio. I had a wrx as well, I certainly understand how convinient it was to be able to get all you need from the clock.
edit: to get to the clock, you need to the center panel out first (where the radio is). Pull the 3 knobs out, undo two screws, and then carefully pry it out as it is being hold down by clips. Once you do it, you will see another two screws for the upper panel (the long one with the clock). Undo those and you are set.

I have to comment on the build quility of the EVO it's much better then the WRX. I really think it's a tank. good job
