There is a bleeder screw on the bottom of the transfer case. I would suck out as much of the old fluid from the resivoir as possible & top it off with fresh to start. It helps to have someone in the car while you loosen the bleeder. With the bleeder open turn the ignition on, but dont start the car. Then press the gas pedal to the floor this will cause the ACD pump to run for a few secconds & push the fluid out the bleeder. you will have to cycle the key & press the pedal again a few times to get all the fluid out. Make sure you keep an eye on the fluid level cause you dont want air in the system. Hope this helps. It's pretty easy.

Are you supposed to change the ACD fluid on a regular basis?

I dont think it needs to be changed regularly, but I would do it every 50k or so. It definately wont hurt. I did mine cause I dissconnected the line to the transfer case when I did the clutch.

Anyone know what fluid needs to be used for the ACD? I thought it was the same thing as the LSD fluids...mitsu Diaqueen? no? Also does it need to be bled...or can you just pour some in the resevouir if you are low?

Holy crap! $10 a qt! I would just get some nice atf from the parts store for much less money... It just acts as a hydraulic fluid iirc.
