Is there any way to import a Evo 1-6 into the US and make it street "legal"?

I will keep looking, but I wouldnt mind a helpful hand.

yes there are many ways.


however every single state is different.


in some states it can be as simple as having the following in place:


original title to vehicle from its original country of origin. and all registration information (as much as possible helps to prove it is not a stolen car)

customs paper work from the country its being shipped from when it leaves. (not hidden in a crate un-declared)

as well as customs paper work when it enters america.

you then must have the original title (in Japanese) translated into english. notarized by the person who translated it.

now that is all that is required in very liberal states. nit sure about RI but when i bought mine thats all i had to do and will discuss on a public forum.
