im looking to replace my stock radiator fan with a slim fan. ive been looking around different dsm forums, and ive found this so far:

this doesnt seem hard at all, but im wondering if our stock radiators even have those holes bung into them, how do people normally use slim fans on stock radiators? what brands do people use?

that, and this walkthrough doesnt go into wiring it up at all. any help would be nice.

It depends on the brand you go with. Most offer kits (like Mishimoto) which pretty much include brackets that hook onto the slim fan and heavy duty zip ties that just go through the fins. If you go with a higher type and you buy the rad/fan combo I am sure they include brackets and well that will bolt right up to the rad.

The wiring is pretty straight forward and most often time the slim type fans you by come with the tap connector. You can just tap into the stock wiring harness for the fan then add a ground. Whether you go with a push or pull fan depends on which wire you tap the harness with.
